Hi there

I have ubuntu 8.04 and everything was OK until I have took my laptop to college and set up a proxy for package manager and firefox. Now update manager can't connect internet at home. Problem is that update-manager insists on using the proxy, I have configured before. I have change everything back (Firefox & package manger), but update manager remembers the proxy setting (trying connect through proxy) The sudo apt-get update is the same, it is trying connect through proxy. HOW TO FIX IT??? HOW TO GET RID OF THE PROXY SETTINGS, SO DOWNLOAD MANAGER CAN CONNECT INTERNET ???
