uninstalling grub

Respected experts,

I want to know how to uninstall grub from MBR. I have few friends who want to try Linux. I can create multiboot system for them. But If they do not feel comfortable, I will have to uninstall grub and let the system use the well known opertaing system's boot loader. Thanks in advance.I do have UBUNTU 8.04 live cd. I personally use Debian Etch.

Boot from that media use the commands fixmbr

To expand a little, you don't "uninstall" any bootloader, you simply replace it. fixmbr is a command from recovery centre for W2k and XP - for Vista use "bootrec.exe /fixmbr"
