Chirosoft publish paid-for software. Doesn't that payment include support?

The software company only offered a 3 month tech support when I purchased the software. I have had the program for 4 years now and never had a problem, so I have not paid for the yearly tech support which comes to $1000.00. Trying to solve this issue without purchasing the tech support, but I also know this is an internal issue just with this software and I may not find help elsewhere.
Any ideas???
