Question "Unable to find service record" Bluetooth versus Ubuntu 12.04

When I try to send files via bluetooth to my iphone, I get message "Unable to find service record". I am using Ubuntu 12.04
Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

iOS does not support native Bluetooth file transfers.

My understanding is there are applications which will allow you to do Bluetooth file transfers, but they may require your iPhone to be jailbroken.
