Again:
  • This is poor security.
  • ACL's like this hint at using Samba; is this the case, and if so, would have been nice to know this to start with.
  • Is your web server really running as user "ubuntu"??
  • The method of connection has *ABSOLUTELY ZERO* bearing on this. Again, if you don't have permissions to write, you can't, period.
  • You could have TRIED this 'solution' and found out if it works quicker than you posted this. Why don't you try it and find out??
