Unable to delete Invalid cross-device link

Hi everyone,

When I try to delete a file from a nfs mount directory I get error message as "Invalid cross-device link". Any suggestions to get rid of it.

As with several of your other threads, you need to provide details when asking a question. Thinks like version/distro of Linux, your environment, goals, etc. Based on what very little you've posted, you're trying to delete something that's a hard/soft link to somewhere else.

But, since you don't say what, give permissions, what kind of client you're using, how you're attempting to delete it, log file entries...ANYTHING...there's little we can tell you.
