Ubuntu-22.04.2-desktop-amd64 not chargeable during installation. Why?

Downloaded ubuntu-22.04.2-desktop-amd64 and via Rufus transferred to a USB. Not chargeable during installation. Why?

What makes you think it's not charging during installation? Does it charge before installation in live environment? Does it charge after installation? Does it charge when its not even turned on?

Not sure how the OS could block charging tho, one would expect that to be controlled by BIOS. Maybe it's a temperature thing, like maybe it won't charge when it's too hot to keep it from overheating? I know its hot where I live and I've read about world heatwave, how's your CPU/GPU/internal temperature doing?

Your title says desktop and the question is about charging?
Most desktop machines are AC powered only, while laptop/notebooks are battery powered and need charged.

I really do not understand the question based on the title.

@computersavvy He's referring to the iso image he installed. It's ubuntu desktop edition (with GNOME desktop environment), not ubuntu server (cli only).
