Exclamation Trying to run Adobe FlashPlayer on Linux Cinnamon 18.3 after downloading.


Hello there to the wonderful thread line of electronic communications!
I am curious as to what is necessary in order to run h.264 decoder after downloading. I am using Linux Cinnamon 18.3 O.S.
any help will be acknowledged with respect. Thank you to All Great Helpful One's.

Actually, Flash and h.264 are two different things.

Flash is, of course, being phased out, but to make use of it, see here

Did you choose to install the media codecs during the Mint installation? If you did, then you should have .h264 support. If you didn't, you can install from the menu: click on Sound and Video - Install Multimedia Codecs.
