Thumbs up Trying to install vnc-ltsp-config packge, required public key

Thanks for reminding me that. Here is the solution.
Move up to the parent directory of the repository you are trying to download the rpm file from. There will be a public key there, which on opening will give a text file. Save that file on your machine like mykey.txt.
Then, type the following to import the key:
gpg --import mykey.txt

Then try installing the package. The installation will complete successfully.

Thanks
Vik

Hello all,

I am very new to Linux and CentOS. I am trying to install a package, vnc-ltsp-cong*.rpm. I tried downloading a lot of versions of it. But from whichever site I may download, I get the same error.

Code:
Downloading Packages:
warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 217521f6

Public key for vnc-ltsp-config-4.0-4.el5.noarch.rpm is not installed
What does this mean? How should I resolve this? how can I install this public key?

Thanks for any help
Vik

Whenever you solve a problem yourself, it's always helpful to others that may search for the same problem later if you mention how you did it.
