troubles starting with ubuntu 10.04 Lts version

I just upgrade my latest version started problems with the system to running the initial load, sometimes the process is killed and I have to shutdown cutting of the power and start over again for two or three times in order to run properly. Sometimes the screen is frozen suddenly or closing application shutdown by itself.Someone have the same problem? and if someone know how to solve the problem please let me Know. Thanks.

I have heard of several users having problems upgrading to 10.04 and 10.10, including myself. We have all discovered that doing a fresh install resolved the problems.
