trouble running americas army

alright I downloaded america's army and the new nvidia driver. I configured XF86Config according to the nvidia readme. When I run america's army i get this error:

clint@dhcp-310-59 armyops]$ armyops
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Couldn't set video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

I assume I am supposed to add load glx into XF86Config file, but I don't know where to put it. The nvidia readme says to put it in the modules section but i don't have a modules section in XF86Config. Thanks for any help.

using mandrake 9.2.

alright I checked XF86Config-4 and is see all the information is in there (load glx in the modules section).

What is the difference between XF86Config and XF86Config-4? Why do I need both?

Oh and I still get the error, though.

this is the error I get in XF86 log:

(EE) [GLX]: Failed to add GLX extension (NVIDIA XFree86 driver not found)

*EDIT*

Ok, I'm a moron, I forgot to change the nv driver to nvidia. lol.

Now th eonly problem I got is figuring out why when I change the driver to nvidia, I lose my picture and i get just a scrambled bunch of gobbledygook at the bottom of the screen.
