The file in question is a quite normal file with .wmv ending. In fact it would be an enormous help if Totem said which plugins, ... they are in need of.
Hi Jerry,
you are great. It works. But can you tell me from where I can take or get the informations which packages have to be installed if you are facing problems like this ??? And another question : which packages have to be installed to make totem work with DVDs ?
Kind regards
eggerola
One thing you should know is that these are not problems or bugs. These file formats like MP3, WMA, etc are patented. Unauthorised use of these codecs are illegal in some countries, so most of the distributions do not include these codecs by default. If it's legal in your country you can download and use it legally, that's it.
You need libdvdcss2 for playing dvds
