Question Tired of cut-n-pasting[I don't unnerstan]

I'm running Mandriva 2008.1 as my OS. Browser is FLOCK and email client is Kmail. When I get a URL link in an email, instead of opening in FLOCK, something downloads to "file:///var/???/???" and then gives me a message that something's amiss with the web address. If I cut-n-paste the URL, it works perfectly. This is a minor inconvenience, but why can't I simply click on a link in an email, and have it just load to my web browser without a hassle?

You are running KDE 3.5.something ?
In a terminal, type kcontrol Press the return key.
The KDE Control Centre opens.
Navigate to KDE Components -> Default Applications and set "Web browser" to be /path/to/flock
Click Apply.

Better?
