GAIM - Pasting

Is there a way to copy and paste text into a GAIM chat window?
The usual CTRL-V doesn't work and I don't get a menu when I right-click.

use your mouse middle button, highlight the text and press middle button if there are any (use both buttons simultaneously to emulate the same effect - if it doesn't work you need to tweek /etc/X11/XF86Config file, you need these entries in that file
PHP Code:
Option      "Emulate3Buttons" "yes"
Option      "Emulate3Timeout" "70"
in Section InputDevice )

Pressing the two buttons simultaneously worked, thank you.
I'm letting others know you helped.
