Tip on bash

Hi!
I've installed Slackware 12 on my computer and I've noticed that instead of showing the classic "user@localhost$" on command-lines, it shows "bash-3.1$"... Do you know how can i change this to the classical one?
Sorry for any spelling and typing mistake

Try 'man bash' and look for "PROMPTING".
