Throughput very low ??

hii
i am simulating mesh networks using ns-3 model and studying different cases.Among the different cases i have studied the hihgest throughput i could achieve is 0.3Mbps ,others being 0.24Mbps,0.16Mbps.
now should this throughput be considered low or good enough??
my mesh network is a 6x6 grid .

i have tried it out for 20 nodes now in comparison to the earlier 36 nodes ,the results are a little strange.
