you'll actually need to familiarize yourself with the command line and programs that use it. Please Read the Install Instructions it is not like most other "idiot proof" installs like Ubuntutututututu
You can boot an iso or an extracted iso using Grub Legacy or Grub2. You can also boot an iso file from an ntfs filesystem if you have Grub2. Since you seem to have only some unknown windows version, those options obviously aren't available to you. Booting Slackware from a hard drive to install is explained at the link below. Note that the referenced bootloaders are Linux bootloaders.
I guess it may be possible to add grub loader to windows 10 using bcdedit or some other loader. Maybe grub4dos could be made to boot uefi secure boot. It won't be a newbie task that is for sure.
At one time you could use a command in windows to change from command.com to another instance of linux. Windows can't do that anymore.
One used to be able to run zipslack and maybe still can on some filesytems sort of a umsdos filesystem???
I think the VM idea may be best choice if you don't want to buy a $5 flash drive.
The other way would be to use pxe boot and set up a local networked source to install linux.
Why you are making all these moves and copies defies me too.
