the diffrance between I386.iso and i386srpms.iso


ok I am very newq to linux I downloaded the i386srpms.iso disk of fedora 3 and burned them using nero and yes I understand how to burn isos
so how come they dont work
my question is whats the diffrance between an i386.iso and an i386-srpms.iso
I am just feed up with microsucks and want something new
anyhelp would be greatly appreciaceted

The srpms ISOs are the source code files in RPM format. The i386 ISOs are the files to create the install CDs.

OK that makes sence
I am thinking of setting up a media server with linux just to store all my divx movies
and am starting to hate the way windows hogs all ram
so thank you very much I know now
