Unhappy The Application Nautilus has Unexpectedly Quit

Hi, I have seen this same question posted loads of times, but none with simple answers and none relating to REDHAT. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am currently Running REDHAT4 Server Edition. I logged in one day to find the message:

"The Application nautilus has quit unexpectedly"

When I click to restart application, it doesnt work and when I try and cancel the application it also doesnt work. All my desktop icons are gone cannot get the message to dissapear.

I tried running nautilus in konsole - doesnt work, it just freezes/times out.

I have read elsewhere that it is something to do with KDE?
Please help...

One thing that often helps is simply logging out. If that does not help, you should try cleaning out the /tmp directory and rebooting.
