Reason: unclear
First of all, rewrite your question in a way that's possible to understand and doesn't have so many exclamation symbols.

What do you mean by "reset"? Turn it off? Forecefully reboot it? Reinstall the OS?

Anyway, assuming this means you want to reinstall Linux and the laptop has an optical drive, go download Linux Mint, burn it onto a CD, put it in the laptop, and install.

I haven't tried it, but UNetbootin (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/) looks like it should be simple to use. You put in a USB drive and it can automatically download a Linux distro (or you can provide your own ISO image) and it will create a bootable USB drive from it.
As for what distribution, I would recommend Mint. But you can search online and see what you like.
