system input out of range linux


I am trying to set up my server at a new IP address using a KVM switch. My monitor is different here and keep getting a message system input out of range and the monitor goes to sleep. How do I reset the monitor frequency so will stay active?

Fixed

I was able to change the monitor resolution and ET is ok now. Couldn't find the file before
