Newbie with Suse 10 Apache running fine...need DNS to host my own sites. I have static IPs. Please recommend a free DNS service or comment on difficulty of configuring my own. thanks!
over at howtoforge there are a bunch of walkthrus on setting servers up with dns, i think. Take a look over there and you can prob get by with just doing the relevant parts to set it up. Hopefully, you have a spare computer to do this on, in case you really mess up.... Just follow the instructions and you should be good. If nothing else uninstall it and start over. I know they have the tutorials broke out on distros as well and am sure there is Suse specific stuff.
