Hi All,

I am very new to Linux. Last week I have installed Ubuntu in my system as a second OS. My system configuration is as follows:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64X2 Dual
Core Processor 3600+
2.00GHz, 1GB Ram

My First OS in Windows XP Professional

For the last one week I have tried all the suggestions given in many forums and Linux sites for making internet connection in my UBUNTU OS. But I have failed.

I have Broadband connection my modem is 220BX ADSL2+ Modem

Can anybody give me step by step instruction for configuring internet connection in my Linux version?

Which version of Ubuntu are you using?

To what kind of network do you want to connect?

Have you tried documantation at the Ubuntu website?

Your system has the same spec. as mine. Who is your service provider if its Sify thn I may help!!!
