I just dnldd KNOPPIX onto a cd-rom for the live disc .iso version, and dropped it into a Dell Beige tower with;

It took me three boots, but I think it said that it could not load the AGP Modules, whatever they are, but I suspect it's my vid drivers..right?

I like the colors on the boot and the penguin, and it looks all good until I get to the intro page, if I can call it that, as I've not seen it yet. It's all messed up like the resolution is set incorrectly or the refresh rate is wrong.

I have the vid set at 1024 x 760, 32 bit color. 60~ refresh rate.

What am I doing wrong? I don't find much on Knoppix in the "Similar Threads" area

Be kind...I am very new to Knoppix (30 minutes so far!), but decently versed in XP.

What version of Knoppix did you download? I have had best luck with Version 3.7 not 3.9 on the OEM machines and older machines I have used it as a rescue disc on. 3.9 has given me video errors on most of the machines I have tried it with. Good luck.
