Source directory

Hello,

when trying to use "checkinstall" instead of "makeinstall" i get no SOURCES directory.
i know it should be /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386.. well, under /usr/src i have nothing the src directory is empty. is there anyway to recreate or add the directory ? did i miss a package while i was install Fedora?

thanks

You can try just making it with mkdir (you'll need to be root). No idea why it wasn't created on install...

SOURCE directory please

well, i tried to do that already, it doesn't work.
i guess its like system directories that have to be constracted by fedora during the installation.
but thanks for your time and if anybody else ran into the same problem or know how to built the source directory please let me know.

Were you running as the root user when you tried to make the directory? What was the exact error message?
