Initially TRAPDRUN=no was there i have changed it to "yes".
After that i tried to start the snmp service by command
$ sudo service snmpd start
Then it is giving the following error
* Starting network management services: /usr/sbin/snmptrapd: symbol lookup error: /usr/sbin/snmptrapd: undefined symbol: init_notification_log
please help me i was structed at this error from two weeks..
I'd guess you installed this from source? If you install through standard packages in your distros package management sstem you should be able to get errors like this.

Actually i was downloaded Net-SNMP-5.4.3 from link http://www.net-snmp.org/download.htmllink..
I dont know may be this file contains all libraries to install snmp or not?
No..I know how to install the softwares in ubuntu but i exactly dont know about the command to install the net-snmp of version 5.4.3 (that is installed in my pc).
