Hi. I am new to Deepin but have been using different Linux distros for over a year. I installed Deepin 15.11 last week and have encountered a problem I have never seen before. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 110 laptop with 4Gb RAM and 1 1TB HDD, stock-standard Intel hardware.
I have an external USB 3.0 hard drive with videos that I send to my TV via HDMI cable. The two monitors are configured in the display settings and there are no problems there. When I select "Send video to .." in the SMPlayer 19.1 menu it does nothing. The video stays on the primary (laptop) screen. I can DRAG the window to the 2nd screen and maximize it and the videos will open on that screen every time. I can live with that. However, when the TV is NOT connected there is no way to show the video on the laptop screen again. It is sent to the HDMI port and that's that. I have to connect the TV and drag the window back onto the primary screen (laptop.)
Is this a bug and will v20 fix it, and is there a way to send video to the 2nd screen?
Thanks, that did solve my problem. I will wait and see if the underlying issue - sending video output to HDMI instead of dragging the window to the HDMI monitor/ TV - will get fixed later on. On the meantime I'm happy to continue this way.
