Basically i have been trying to connect to my windows share for 1 week.

I need to have it automated so i need a script, but every mount command i use does not work..

The only thing that works is "connect to server" (Nautilus connect server)

i copied the output of that and pasted it into the "Go to" Bar in the file browser. by doing that it connects fine and im able to browse my files

However i need it automated in a script (perl or bash) and i cant get a command line to work.

So im hoping that there is a command that uses the "go to" bar the same way

Would help if you told us what version/distro of Linux you're using, and what you've typed in and tried, and what error(s) you're seeing. All we know now, is that it won't work from the command line.

I am using Ubuntu, and what i am looking for is above.. Is there a command that uses the go to bar directly

I have used everything from cifs t osmb so smbfs to whatever.. My problem is it looks like its mounting then Freezes up my system.

Ok, again, what version of Ubuntu? What exactly are you typing in? What error(s) are you seeing? How long do you wait before you power-cycle/reboot?

Need details. The only way to mount it, is to use the mount command I provided to you in the link I sent in my first post. That usually works. Do you see anything in your system logs?

The other commands are useless, i am not allowed to use them that is why i didnt ask you about them

Answer questions when asked. In any of your other posts, you didn't bother to mention that you were "not allowed" to run mount commands. Mounting a drive from the command-line is the most common, and best, way of doing it. YOU are the one who mentioned the mount commands in your first post, but never followed up with any details.

And before you get snotty with someone, read what you posted, and what I asked. Also, might help if you spelled "nautilus" correctly, when you're trying to be rude.
