I Wish I wasnt such a noob but anyways

when I set an image as my desktop or try to click and drag a square on the desktop in gnome I cant drag all the way to the top of the screen AND I cant place any icons up there Also my desktop image is distored there like it is starting a new image like its set to tile the image.....but its not set to tile the image...its set to center its almost like there is a part of the dekstop I Cant access...................HELP

Can you find the Gnome Control Center and try changing some settings?

Middle clicking and right clicking on desktops bring up stuff too.

ok........... here goes when you click and drag to select more then one thign on the desktop right

well I cant go all the way to the top with the drag box it stops about 6 cm from the top of the desktop

Also it splits my desktop image right there at that line I dont know what it is its really wierd almost like the desktop stops there but it doesnt cause I see the bottem of the desktop image starting again its been there ever since I changed the window manager I changed it back of cause I like sawfish but anyways I also restarted and its still there...
