Question Slackware wanted via ftp


help me. I trying to find a ftp site that offers good download speeds. Also I need to know what I looking for. I found some sites but there offered .ASC not .ISO, Is there a differance. Help

http://slackware.com/getslack/ is a list of mirrors, some are ftp and some are http. The ones I looked at offer iso's for versions 8 and 9. You'll want an iso if you want to burn a cd. I'm not sure about asc files.
