slack build gtkpod


I ran into this:

How is that different from a normal install, and why is it better?
Someone have a link with a detailed "how to slack build"??
I am running slack 10.2

It's "better" because you'd be following in Pat's foot-prints,
and you can easily uninstall stuff using the package tools.
