similarty between two text files using perl


hi,
if i have two text files how to find the similarity betweentwo...for eg. FILE1 contains ABCDEFG
and FILE2 contains EFGHIJK USING perl program


please help

I'm not that experienced with perl, but I know that there are all kinds of pre-made modules out there covering almost anything you'd want to do. Try the cpan site.

Here, I went ahead and did one search for you.
