I am using ubuntu 11.10 and can't find an icon or button to show or hide all open windows
Control+Alt+D works, but is there a button available?

sudo apt-cache search filename ... (this will give the exact .deb package name)

I installed (succesfully) showdesktop (awn-applet-showdesktop-0.4.1~bzr1507-0ubuntu1-i386.deb) but I don't know how to use it to show/hide desktop windows, no icon is shown. during installation an icon appeared momentarily but then it was gone.
