shell-scripting.pdf files

Hello

I am trying to learn shell scripting and downloaded a pdf book - shell scripting by Hamish Whittal. A lot of the exercises refrence some example files which I cannot seem to find anywhere and are not refrenced in the book. Does anybody out there have any info on where I can find these?

Thanks
Gareth

Hi.

Briefly, the course suggests that the files "are on the site":
http://learnlinux.tsf.org.za/courses...3.html#d0e2429

However, in 2007, the files could not be found:
http://learnlinux.tsf.org.za/users-a...07-January.txt

The course looks good, but it is disappointing that someone could not have put together the data files.

Perhaps you can contact the course author, one place where he is listed:
http://wiki.clug.org.za/wiki/Hamish_Whittal
but you may need to search elsewhere if that information is stale.

Best wishes ... cheers, makyo

This is a good place to start off with shell scripting. I am no guru but take reference when I need. There is a pdf version available if you need.
