SHELL SCRIPT to copy files from cdrom

i need a shell script to copy pictures from cdrom and ftp them.the name of files will be entered by user.somebody please help

For scripting the ftp part, I'd look at ncftp. Most everything can be configured on the commandline. It's pretty easy to script.
