servers not talking

Pls I want to ask u a question, most computers be on the same route for them to talk to each other?

The machines I installed in the esxi took their ip addr as 192.168.199.130 , 192.168.199.136 with the host as 192.168.199.128 and a route of 192.168.199.2. These two machine can talk to each other evn with ssh nd sftp but they can talk wit my other machines that tok dia route numbers as 10.0.2.2 and 192.168.0.1.

The number of my router frm service provide is 192.168.0.1 and I can't explain why I hav d diff route numbers in these virtual machines.

Could it be becos they hav diff route numbers or its a diff kind of challenge am dealing with?

Thank u.
