Being in the redhat family
i would go with CentOS for a home set up
or if I was the one supporting it

or for a small business or if others are going to administrate it
PAY for RHEL 6.4
the support contract is a VERY small price to pay for the peace of mind it brings

It is a very small business and the server will host accounting files. I do plan on administering and I think I'm sold on CentOS simply because of the suggestions I've read and from I've read elsewhere.

Centos is a good choice for what you plan to do, also there are plenty of good tutorials on youtube to help you.

Yes, nothing wrong with CentOS, its a great distro.

I just want to throw in there though, that Debian has a far bigger repository for software than CentOS. So before making a final decision, check with the repo's have what you need and if they don't, whether you can handle compiling and maintaining any additional software.

CentOS however does have plenty of third party repos such as DAG Repo.
