Seek local LINUX user group for advice when needed.

Like LINUX so far; I got tired of all Bill Gates security updates, which were crowding storage on my older laptop. A jug will only hold so much! Question: Is there a site or directory listing LINUX user groups around the U.S? I dwell Bangor Maine area, and would appreciate a "Dutch Uncle" who can bail me out when necessary. I am close to the University of Maine. R Palmer

I'd guess there is a group in the university.

Usually put the search for LUG and your local area in to see.
