[SOLVED] screenshots in ubuntu

Hello everyone

I have recently downloaded ubuntu 11.10 on my computer to know more about this software.

I would like to know how can we capture screenshots in Ubuntu environment.

first of all, ubuntu is an operating system, just like windows.

second of all, a little googl'ing around would give you heap of options what you are tying to do, for instance, have a look here:

Actually, screen captures are easy. The print screen button is all you need.

If you use the Unity app finder thingee and type screen capture in it, it should turn up the included applications. Although I must say that Ksnapshot is my favorite GUI screen capture utility.
