Hello friends. Lenovo T520 Mint 19.1 Mate
Right after I type in my password the screen goes black. Plugging in or unplugging the power adapter returns screen to normal. It then stays on until next login.
Battery can be fully charged or 50% it still does this. Other than this it works perfectly. I can certainly paste an inxi screen here if you can tell me which one to post.
Im pretty new to Linux, I do not know if this is software or hardware issue. This pc did have 18.3 on it without issue before.
provides the graphics info starting point. Xorg.0.log would probably help as well, either from /var/log/ or ~/.local/share/xorg/, whichever is newer if both exist. Upload the log and provide a link to it rather than trying to paste it here, either using the pastebinit command, or using a web browser.
Thanks for help mr mazda. To be honest I have no idea how to carry out your suggestion so I guess I'll just have to live with the issue for now. Thanks again.
