saved convversations on pidgin messenger


can anyone tell me if conversations save on pidgin messenger on linux and if yes where i would find them

If they are saved they will be in a hidden folder in your home directory. Have a look under view then select show hidden files now look for a .purple folder and take a look in there.

To save the conversations in Pidgin, first you have to enable this option, so do this:
-go to Preferences>Logging>check the option you wish
-go to Plugins>check the History plugin
Now you have all your conversations saved.
