Smile samba folder permission with AD User (Windows 2008 Server)


Hi All,

i have the one help. i will creata one samba server.access this samba file windows system. also domain user access this samba folder. but problem is how can set permissions AD User( Windows 2008 Server).


please help me..........

Having a rather old version of Samba I use a map file.

The contents of the map file is:
<linux name> = <windows name>

The map file is referenced in the samba config file (/etc/samba/smb.conf)
Under "[global]" I have the entry:
username map = /path/to/the/mapfile

Hope this helps
