Samba & Webmin

I've searched and I can't find anything that applies to me, please help

I've configured everything that I can find to configure using webmin to access redhat 9 from xp pro using samba, I can get XP to see the linux box, but when i try to open it, it says "you don't have permission to access this" or something along those lines, what am I doing wrong, is it something I have to do on the windows machine?

If I'm not wrong, and I could be, don't you need to have a linux user as well as a samba user?
smbpasswd -a username <-- works really well and is alot quicker than clicking everything in webmin just to do this.

by the way, samba has excellent logs. You might want to take a look at /var/log/samba, which is the usual location.
