rpm help


How do i force install an rpm??

You need to apply "--force" :-]

Why are you trying to apply force? What kind of error are you getting? There may be a much better alternative than using force. I never use force. I find that if an rpm fails to install, it either needs another rpm (which you can install) or it needs an outdated rpm to be uninstalled.
