RPC Error 101

Hi,

Iam trying to execute linux bridge commands on ppc-linux.
The following commands are executed:

brctl addbr br0
ifconfig eth0 down
brctl addif br0 eth0

When i try the last command, i get
RPC returned error 101
RPC returned error 101
RPC returned error 101
Network is unreachable.

Did i do anything wrong?

Thanks,
Dhanesh.

You might not have portmap loading. Are you using a custom kernel? Portmap is needed to mount additional remote file systems.
