Roles with administrative functions as groups...

simple question but I am lost!
In a system where for example users have secondary group identities that remain fixed during their login sessions, what are the advantages of roles with the same administrative functions as the groups?
Do they really have advantages?

Hi,

you still haven't defined "roles"? When jpollard posted in your other thread guessing you were referring to SELinux, I thought he must have guessed correctly, but since you ignored his reply... I really have no idea what you want to know.

If you feel your question has not been answered try providing more information.

It makes little difference to me, I'm not seeking help. However it seems you are and you are not getting answers that satisfy you, therefore I would think it may be helpful to clarify.

Ok, I won't bother further.
