Question Rescue Disk Download

Where can I find a rescue disk for fedora core 1 on the net?
I messed up my boot loader and my other rescue disk became corrupt

Thank you for your time

Try booting up with the first Install CD and type 'rescue' for the parameter. I think that is fairly standard. You could download a live distro such as knoppix or mandrake live. I once had to boot up with a Mandrake install disk to partition a drive so the NT 4 install program would work!

If you get going again, several distro's have a script command called mkrescue that you can call with the --iso option to create a rescue.iso image.

http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...386/os/images/

That has a bootdisc.img which may be what you are looking for. Try that.

its also on the fedora disk... its called bootdisk.img of somthing similar....
its about 1.44 mwgs in size, and although there are programs to burn the rescu cd, i find it easyer to just

'cat /path/to/boot.img > /dev/fd0`
