Thumbs up Reparing of broken packages on PCLinuxOS KDE 2013.02

Open Synaptic, the icon in the panel at the bottom of the Desktop. Enter your root password when prompted. When Synaptic opens you should see a window with three panes. The smaller one on the left will have a number of options and one of them is "Broke". Take a look at that and see what you can do or if you don't understand, post some info on what you do see. Also, what were you doing immediately prior to this, any software you were trying to install, problems with it. More details would help someone to help you.

Hi Yancek !! I am most grateful for your prompt help with my problem of Broken Packages.I now have another problem with being unable to get video calls - (skype 4.3), on my Sony Vaio ns 30 e/s Laptop. I just hope that one day I would become as half as experienced as you guys !!
