Rename partition label


Hey everyone,

I just installed Linux on a second partition. The label of this partition is currently " newlabel " i want to change this to "linux" do you guys know how to do this.

try using Gparted on the live_cd.

look under the menu list for the option 'label'
or Rclick that partition.

... or just use e2label
Eg
Code:
