removing packages

I want to know if there is a command to remove all the packages from knoppix 3.8. I am remastering a copy of knoppix v3.8 and only want a fw programs. I dont want to remove one program at a time and would like if if someone knows how to remove all programs using one command.

Thanks

I believe Knoppix is Debian-based, so maybe you could use dpkg to remove any given package.

Knoppix is Debian-based. Use apt-get --purge remove <package name or list of package names>
